WCoG becomes Perennials first Diamond Partner

January 15th 2016

The Company is proud to become the horticultural trade charity Perennial's first ever Diamond Partner, launched at the charity's Party for Perennial on Friday 15th January 2016. The Diamond level is the latest addition to the charity's Perennial Partner scheme, which allows businesses to show their support for people working in the horticulture industry by signing up to make annual donations which provide essential and regular income income for the charity, enabling it to plan its services for the future and commit to recruiting the caseworkers and debt advisers so heavily relied upon by its clients. Businesses can choose the level of support that is appropriate for their business - Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze.

“We're delighted to become the first Diamond Partner, demonstrating our support for this amazing charity. We look forward to working ever more closely with Perennial,” said the Master, Bernard Williams.

In welcoming WCoG, together with The Institute of Groundsmanship and GK Wilson Landscaping, which have become Platinum Partners, W Crowder & Sons as a Gold Partner and Bulldog Tools as a Silver Partner, Laura Garnett, Development Manager at Perennial, said: “We have forged strong relationships with many businesses and organisations in the industry. We are delighted to welcome our four new Partners and would encourage others to follow their lead. We rely on our Partners, not only for the valuable financial contribution they bring, but also to help us spread the word about the support we can give colleagues when times get tough.”
