Urban Tree Challenge Fund

Round 2 of The Urban Tree Challenge Fund (UTCF) is open with the aim of planting at least 20,000 large trees and 110,000 small trees in urban areas in England.

Individual applications are welcomed, but are aimed at smaller organisations or community groups. Applications will be ranked by those which provide the most social and environmental benefits to an area.

Forestry Minister Lord Goldsmith, said: "Our immediate priority is rightly our response to the challenges posed by the coronavirus. But, although these are unprecedented times, we want to continue to uphold the nation’s commitment to the environment."
