The UK’s first Ash Tree Archive

April 1st 2020

The Ash Archive initiative, which launched back in January this year is a UK led intitative to cultivate more ash trees, and then identify ash tree individuals with a high tolerance to Ash Dieback.

This scheme led to 3,000 trees planted in January alone, and is intended to form part of a breeding programme over time to maintain and restore ash trees in the British landscape.
