The Gardens Trust and FOLAR (Friends of the Landscape Library & Archive at Reading) present a series of 5 online talks on 'different approaches to community engagement with existing and new landscapes'. The talks will 'cover historic, traditional, cherished, refurbished and unloved gardens and landscapes in the UK and overseas, and will consider a variety of ways in which the public has and is being included, and to what end'.
The talks will be delivered online only at 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm (GMT) as below, £8 each or all 5 for £35 (Gardens Trust and FOLAR members discount applies).
Week 1: 10 January, 2024: Refurbishing the Eco-city Augustenborg Malmo. First in a series of 5 online lectures,
Week 2: 17 January, 2024: Connecting People, Places and Spaces. Second in a series of 5 online lectures,
Week 3: 24 January, 2024: The Changing Face of Landscape Practice. Third in a series of 5 online lectures,
Week 4: 31 January, 2024: Pioneering the Collective Garden. Fourth in a series of 5 online lectures,
Week 5: 7 February, 2024: Being Awkward. Last in a series of 5 online lectures.
