Pollinating London Together

August 19th 2020

Pollinating London Together is a collaboration across the City of London Livery Companies including the Worshipful Company of Wax Chandlers and the Worshipful Company of Gardeners in partnership with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

All involved have a shared interest in sustainability and making London a better place for all our pollinators. It’s primary purpose is achieved via; Raising Awareness, Connecting, Fundraising and Supporting.

Most recently on 6th August, Dr. Heather Barrett-Mold OBE - Master of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners organised an ‘audit’ on behalf of the Pollinating London Together team.

The purpose of these ‘audits’ was to provide an assessment of planting and use of pesticides in any Livery’s garden who were interested. The visits in early August included Worshipful Company of Drapers (Throgmorton Street), Worshipful Company of Barbers (Monkwell Square) and Cannon Bridge Roof Garden (EC4).
