The Worshipful Company of Gardeners has agreed to fund a second Nuffield scholar and is looking for a deserving individual, working in horticulture or an ancillary sector.
In partnership with the Nuffield Trust, we will provide grant funding to enable you to build knowledge through global experience, use your potential, share brilliant ideas and make things happen - developing you as a leader for tomorrow.
“This is a very special opportunity. As a sponsor we are keen to identify and encourage applicants from horticulture and to ensure everyone has considered how this could help develop their potential. Working with the Nuffield Trust will unlock some great experiences too”, said Stephen Bernhard, Chairman of the Gardeners’ Education Committee.
Anyone who has at least two years’ experience with their current appointment, has left full time education or study more than three years ago and is under 45 years old may apply. If you have ideas that you would like to develop, using the opportunity to travel internationally, we would like to hear from you.
