The University of Cambridge Botanic Garden (CUBG) is hosting a series of courses in 2021, designed to give participants a comprehensive introduction to horticulture across the gardening year.
This two-part course is named ‘Introduction to pests and diseases: plant husbandry and plant health’ and is delivered by tutor Sandie Cain both online and in the Garden.
Sandie joined the Botanic Garden team in 2018 as Horticultural Learning Co-ordinator with responsibility for the Schools Garden and horticultural learning. She studied horticulture at Plumpton College and Bicton College, and was previously head gardener of a Victorian walled garden.
