Since 2000, the International Garden Festival is a unique event in North America held annually at the Jardins de Métis / Reford Gardens site in Quebec, Canada.
The 21st Edition of the International Garden Festival presented from June 22 to October 4th, 2020 and the theme was 'Métissages' or a 'cross-breeding' of garden practices and plants.
Happening in the midst of a pandemic, meant that 2020 was a unique year. Normally designers/architects would travel to Quebec to construct their gardens, but this time the Reford festival team built their installations so that visitors to the Reford Gardens could enjoy the visions they had imagined.
