Gardening for Disabled Trust - New Book

The Gardening for Disabled Trust was founded back in 1968 by philanthropist Mrs Peggy Kinsey.

This registered charity gives out small grants to people who suffer all kinds of chronic disabilities - mental and physical - to help them get gardening again, their mission statement reads:

"The therapeutic benefits of gardening on body and soul are well recognised nowadays."
"We believe in the therapeutic powers of being outdoors, getting stuck into a bit of planting or weeding or growing."

To raise funds and offer fun and informative tips the trust has recently launched a new book titled 'Cuttings'.
The book features over 500 tips from famous gardening names such as; Carol Klein, Mark Lane and Alan Titchmarsh.
