The Charterhouse is a seven acre historic site and charity in Clerkenwell housing a 400 year old almshouse, which due to the pandemic has not been able to reopen to the public – to protect its vulnerable residents.
So, to continue to raise funds, the Charterhouse in conjunction with Leigh Chappell and Sarah Whiting have curated a two day virtual ‘Flower Power’ festival featuring a programme of talks, tours and demonstrations.
The programme will celebrate how flowers, gardens and gardening can help our mental and physical health and highlight the impact of the pandemic, both on the Charterhouse charity and the British flower industry.
