The horticultural industry like many others has suffered due to the current pandemic. However, springtime is a time for new growth, and new hope.
That is why the Scottish industry joined together to create something beautiful from plants otherwise destined for the compost heap.
A giant rainbow created from flowers, a 'Florainbow of Hope' was created with approximately 160,000 individual flowers.
Garry Young (of A&G Young) said:
“Through the sheer sadness and financial losses we all face due to COVID-19...we took pride and had smiles on our faces when making this living Rainbow of Hope.”
