The Lord Mayor’s Appeal is delighted to announce that a net total of £66,952 was raised in this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge. In addition they said:
“Thanks to all our donations, and generous pledges from Lord Mayor William Russell, and former Lord Mayors Peter Estlin and Charles Bowman, and the Reed Foundation, we are able to support our charity partners to do their pioneering work.”
The money raised will go towards the charities; Place2Be, OnSide Youth Zones, Samaritans and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. It will help the Appeal to create ‘A Better City For All’.
